Washington University in St. Louis is the host to this year's annual meeting of the Illinois Classical Conference

The 2026 annual meeting of the Illinois Classical Conference, held at Washington University in St. Louis, MO at the invitation of Collinsville High School, to be held on Saturday, October 10–Sunday, October 11, 2026, with an opening reception on the evening of Friday, October 9. St. Louis is on the border of Missouri and Illinois, and Washington University has graciously allowed us to use their space in partnership with Collinsville High School, located just across the Illinois border in Collinsville, IL.

This year’s program has a number of exciting features, including the following:
  • Sessions from ICC members from Higher and Secondary Ed. on community pedagogies, the new AP syllabus, and collaborative projects in Illinois.
  • A classroom activity exchange. Activities related to the new AP curriculum, especially the project passages, are especially encouraged
  • The opening reception on Friday, Oct. 9th
  • The banquet on Saturday night at Guido's on the Hill on Saturday, Oct. 10th 
  • An afternoon excursion to the Cahokia Mounds State Historic Site and Museum on Sunday, Oct. 11th 
 
Lodging: A block of rooms has been reserved at Clayton Plaza Hotel (7750 Carondelet Ave. Clayton, MO 63105) for $139 per night. Parking and breakfast are included.
