Associate Professor Nicola Aravecchia (Classics; Art History & Archaeology) recently delivered an invited lecture at Seoul National University, the premier university in South Korea.
Presented on May 6, his talk, titled “At the Edge of Empire: Archaeology of a Late Roman Oasis City,” was hosted by the university’s Department of Archaeology and Art History and its Interdisciplinary Program in Classical Studies.
Aravecchia’s lecture was featured as part of the “Prestigious Foreign Scholars’ Initiative,” highlighting his ongoing contributions to the study of the ancient Mediterranean world and the global impact of his research.
