Hunter is a proud Oklahoman and recent graduate from the University of Oklahoma with a B.A. in Classics. Her undergraduate honors thesis was on a close reading of Euripides' Medea, specifically on the contradictory representation of Medea as a "child-killing lioness." Her main research interests are ancient depictions of witches, demons, and the liminal identities they represent. Additionally, she is interested in the representation of women in Attic drama (especially tragedy). She is passionate about making Classics accessible to everyone, most of all people from rural communities who otherwise have had very limited exposure to it.
