Nicola Aravecchia Presents at the Université Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne
Professor Nicola Aravecchia was invited to to present a paper at the roundtable “Rethinking Change: Egypt’s Western Desert Oases in Late Antiquity,” organized by Université Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne and held at the Institut national d’histoire de l’art in Paris.
His paper, entitled “Reconfiguring the ‘Great Oasis’: Christian Architecture, Regional Connectivity, and Shifts in the Built Landscape,” was presented on September 4 as part of a session entitled “Egyptian Western Oases in Transition: Landscapes, Communities and Connectivity.”
